At InergyX, our mission is to promote energy efficient and environmentally responsible building through code compliance consulting, testing and implementation of effective ESG strategies in the construction industry. We are provider of energy consulting, testing and inspections for various energy and green building certification programs like ENERGY STAR, DOE Zero Energy Ready Homes (ZERH), Indoor airPLUS, etc for residential buildings.


Job Description:

On-site Inspections: Conduct thorough on-site evaluations of residential buildings to ensure they adhere to IECC, ENERGY STAR, DOE, EPA, RESNET standards and other applicable codes and guidelines.

Documentation: Record and document all inspection results accurately. Provide detailed reports on any discrepancies or deviations from the Energy Star standards.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest energy performance testing guidelines, technologies, and best practices.

Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including energy raters and auditors, to ensure the effective delivery of InergyX's certification services.

Problem Solving: Address any concerns or challenges faced during inspections, ensuring that all stakeholders understand the requirements and next steps for compliance.

Feedback: Provide input on ways to improve the inspection process and contribute to the company's ongoing commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements:

1. High School Degree/Vocational Training with interest area in Science and Engineering.
2. Ability to carry and comfortably manage equipment like ladders and testing equipments like blower door kits, duct leakage tester, etc weighing upto 30 to 50 lbs.
3. Ability to commit to on-site testing with 2-days prior notice.
4. Quick learner and technology proficient in the use of inspection tools and equipment.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
7. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various inspection sites around East Texas.
